Season 4 - Les Misérables School Edition Cast Registration

Important information! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Les Misérables School Edition is a full-length production presented in two acts. It is rated PG-13 due to occasional coarse language and depictions of adult themes and mortal combat. The only difference between the full version is that this productions has been abridged to a running time of just over two hours while beautifully maintaining the integrity of this musical masterpiece Casting is open to high school students, from grades 9 through 12 (2018-19 academic year).

Auditions will be held on February 12 from 3PM until 7PM at Trinity Church

Callbacks will be held on February 13 from 3PM until 6PM at Trinity Church

Auditions will still be no-cut, so online registration is imperative and is first-come-first-served. Cast size for Les Misérables is strictly limited and the script for this production requires an approximately equal number of male and female actors. To maintain this ratio in the fairest manner possible, we have set the number of open cast positions artificially low, after which any new registrants will be placed on the waiting list. You can enter a credit card to pay tuition for a waitlisted registration; it will not be charged unless and until the participant is admitted from the waitlist into the program.

There is a limited number of scholarships available. Those will be decided based entirely on need, and then awarded first-come-first-serve. Scholarship application deadline is 11:59 PM on Saturday February 9. All scholarship applicants will be put on a waitlist for evaluation. Scholarship applicants will be notified of the decision by Monday February 10.

Rehearsal Schedule

Rehearsals will take place at Trinity United Methodist Church (TUMC). Dress rehearsals and performances will take place in the Gezon Auditorium at Calvin College. The schedule is as follows:

ATTENDANCE POLICY: Attendance at all auditions, callbacks, tech and dress rehearsals, and show times are mandatory. Participation in this production should be the participant's highest priority over other activities. In the event of unavoidable schedule conflicts, please notify the directors at least 24 hours in advance.

A 75% refund may be obtained only if withdrawal is requested prior to 48 hours after the cast list is posted. By completing I hereby certify that I am a parent or legal guardian of the child participant (or I am at least 18 years of age if I am the participant) and that all of the information provided is correct and complete. I will be responsible for the cost of any emergency medical care provided to the participant should stageGR instructors or staff, in their judgement, call 911 on behalf of the participant in the event of an emergency.
